This song was written during a dark period of my life in which my marriage was actively being dissolved after 13 years of wreckage that left me pretty much a shell of the person I once was. But in spite of everything I’d been through in my life, with failed and toxic relationships, I still felt that if Spirit would give me a sign, I would commit to staying open to the possibility of something healthy and meaningful coming my way.
